GREGORY MOMPOINT
Ministry Through Music
Born and raised in New York City and now living in Texas, Gregory Mompoint is a Christian artist whose music is rooted in his love for Jesus Christ, the truth of God’s Word, and a desire to encourage others in their walk with Him.
Gregory is an active member of a Bible-teaching church community, where he volunteers with student ministry and assists with adult Bible studies. For more than a decade, he has also served as a volunteer chaplain at his local juvenile detention center, preaching the gospel and encouraging young people in Jesus Christ.
Gregory has had opportunities to perform his music through juvenile prison ministry and for Christian inmates at an adult maximum-security state prison. His music has also been played at Christian music festivals.
Whether writing lyrics, opening the Bible, ministering to youth, or sharing his music, Gregory’s mission remains the same:
To glorify Jesus Christ, proclaim the truth of God’s Word, encourage the Body of Christ, and point people toward the new life found in Him
About the Music
For Gregory Mompoint, music has never been about building a brand, chasing recognition, or selling a product. It is about Jesus Christ.
As Gregory puts it:
“My talent is not for sale. I do it as unto the Lord. I’m not in the music business—I’m in the business of saving souls.”
Jesus World
“Jesus World” expresses the truth that my life is in Christ and that He is my life. This collection of unreleased poems, songs, and creative ideas reflects my faith, testimony, and worship. Gregory Mompoint wrote and created the lyrics he performs, while other artists perform lyrics they wrote themselves. Gregory Mompoint does not own the underlying music or instrumental production; those rights belong to their respective owners. This collection is presented as a demonstration for promotional use only and is not for sale.
Psalm 133
“Psalm 133” brings together Gregory Mompoint, Ezra Hoyte, and Isaiah Hoyte in a collaboration of praise, faith, and songs that share the gospel. Featuring original songs and remixes written and arranged by Gregory Mompoint and Ezra Hoyte, with production by Isaiah Hoyte, this collection celebrates unity in Christ and a shared desire to make Him known. It is presented as a demonstration for promotional use only and is not for sale.
Jesus World: Workout Mix
“Jesus World: Workout Mix” brings together all the songs from “Jesus World” and “Psalm 133” in a continuous mixtape mixed by two Christian DJs, DJ Dose and CJ The DJ. Their scratching and creative mixes bring fresh energy to these songs of faith, praise, and worship—perfect for working out or enjoying the music on a drive. This collection is presented as a demonstration for promotional use only and is not for sale.
Gregory’s music is for ministry and promotional purposes and is not for sale. What God freely gave him, he desires to freely share with others.
This is more than music.
This is ministry.
This is Jesus World.
